In this article, we explore the class of graphs for which the projective dimension of the quotient of the binomial edge ideals matches the big height of that ideal. Additionally, we investigate the Vasconcelos number of binomial edge ideals for cycles and crown graphs. We also provide proof for [Conjecture 4.13, 3], which is related to the Vasconcelos number of binomial edge ideals for cycles.

Permutation Models Arising From Topological Ideals
A recent paper by Zapletal arXiv:2404.10612 discusses permutation models of set theory which arise from dynamical ideals and highlights properties of the dynamical ideal which relate to fragments of choice in the permutation model. In this paper, we provide several examples from topology which illustrate using these connections to argue that the corresponding permutation model satisfies either the axiom of countable choice or well-ordered choice.

A special class of prime ideals for infinite symmetric group algebras
We identify an interesting special class of prime ideals in the finitary infinite symmetric group algebra. We show that the set of such ideals carries a semiring structure. Over the complex numbers, we establish a connection with spherical representations of (the Gelfand pair corresponding to) the infinite symmetric group. In positive characteristic, we investigate a close connection with the structure theory of symmetric tensor categories.
