At my keynote for the 2025 Acadia Ethics Conference, a number of clinical therapists in attendance surprised me by embracing AI's potential to bridge mental health gaps and even flag anxiety-producing items in their offices from a single photo.

Someone from U Zurich did an undisclosed persuasion experiment on Reddit users in r/ChangeMyView using #LLM bots. This kind of social media research is absolutely unethical and the "results" should not be published. Additional shame on the ethics committee for arguing *for* publication. The superposition calculus for reasoning in first-order logic with equality relies on simplification orderings on terms. Modern saturation provers use the Knuth-Bendix order (KBO) and the lexicographic path order (LPO) for discovering redundant clauses and inferences. Implementing term orderings is however challenging.
