i implemented Ascon-Hash256 in Amaranth! (as well as laid the groundwork for the rest of Ascon family functions, including Ascon-AEAD128)
it comes at 1268 LUTs for iCE40 in the "compact" configuration, processing an average of 5.3 bit/cycle. a little expensive, but modern and cheaper than many better known alternatives

We introduce TeMFpy, a Python library for converting fermionic mean-field states to finite or infinite matrix product state (MPS) form. TeMFpy includes new, efficient, and easy-to-understand algorithms for both Slater determinants and Pfaffian states. Together with Gutzwiller projection, these also allow the user to build variational wave functions for various strongly correlated electron systems, such as quantum spin liquids. We document the three main new features in release 2.0.0 of the HOPPET parton distribution function evolution code, specifically support for N$^3$LO QCD evolution in the variable flavour number scheme, for the determination of hadronic structure functions for massless quarks up to N$^3$LO, and for QED evolution to an accuracy phenomenologically equivalent to NNLO QCD.
