Abstract: I analyze the pseudoreal confining $\mathcal{N}=1$ SUSY gauge theories deformed by anomaly mediated SUSY breaking (AMSB). Taking the conjecture that the AMSB and non-SUSY limits are in the same universality class, I find broadly that the non-SUSY confining pseudoreal gauge theories of this class have no massless particles in their spectra. This contradicts recent expectations from tumbling. I explore whether or not non-standard tumbling could reconcile the two pictures, and find that it would require condensation in repulsive channels in three of the cases, and that in one case it does not appear possible regardless of attractiveness/repulsiveness. I briefly comment on the additional theories that may be in the conformal window, and find that their SUSY versions are consistent with flowing to superconformal fixed points.

Abstract: Solution-processed OLEDs offer a scalable route to large-area devices, but achieving competitive efficiency in multilayer stacks remains a challenge due to difficulties in hole injection as well as solvent orthogonality between layers. A hole injection layer (HIL) based on a blend of PEDOT:PSS and a perfluorinated ionomer (PFI) addresses both challenges simultaneously: surface segregation of PFI during film drying creates a high-work-function interface improving hole injection into high-ionisation potential host materials, while the insolubility of the blend in aromatic solvents prevents intermixing with subsequently deposited layers. Using this HIL with a solution-processed mCPCN:SpiroAC-TRZ emissive layer, sky-blue OLEDs with a peak external quantum efficiency (EQEmax) of 21.7%, an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 20.2% at 100 cd m-2, a peak luminance of 29,000 cd m-2 and a full width at half maximum (FWHM) emission linewidth of 69 nm are demonstrated. The PFI-based HIL approach is extended to the photochemically stable TADF emitter 5TCzBN (EQEmax 18.4%, FWHM 73 nm) and to sensitized / hyperfluorescent OLEDs incorporating the multi-resonance TADF terminal emitters n-DABNA (EQEmax 22.8%, FWHM 26 nm) and the dendrimer TCzBN-BMes (EQEmax 20.4%, FWHM 29 nm). These results establish the PEDOT:PSS:PFI HIL as a broadly compatible platform for high-performance solution-processed TADF OLEDs.

Generalized Constraint Projection: Four-Dimensional Type Inference for Dynamic Languages

Abstract: Type inference for dynamically typed languages must reconcile four distinct sources of evidence for function parameters: internal assignments, explicit declarations, contextual requirements, and structural operations. Existing systems often merge these sources into one constraint set, causing spurious conflicts or requiring redundant annotations. We present Generalized Constraint Projection (GCP), a zero-annotation inference framework that stores the four sources in separate monotone slots on a stable definition-time template and checks each call in a fresh projection session. Ordinary calls verify concrete arguments and specialize return types without modifying the template, while currying produces residual projected functions. GCP uses Outline Equational Matching (OEM), a structural compatibility preorder with an open bidirectional delegation protocol, and future this, a receiver-preserving extension for subtype-refining fluent APIs. On the strict success fragment of a finite-height type preorder, we prove monotonicity, local and global convergence in $O(Nh_T)$ effective updates, conditional projection-obligation soundness, projection termination, multi-module convergence, and order independence under fair monotone iteration. For the pure, recursion-free core Outline0, we additionally prove big-step evaluation definedness, type preservation, runtime receiver retention, and projection-evaluation coherence. We instantiate GCP in the Outline dynamic language as a typed substrate for ontology worlds and apply it to unannotated Python source to recover PEP 484 annotations for downstream compilation.
