We create a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model for annual returns of three asset classes: the USA Standard & Poor (S&P) stock index, the international stock index, and the USA Bank of America investment-grade corporate bond index. Apparently employees were given stock options, and were encouraged to buy stock - ALL shares held by employees were Common Stock. When Private Equity bought the company, the shares were declared worthless (of course the the CEO, etc all will receive payouts).
