Aus unerfindlichen Gründen setzte gestern das WireGuard aus. Zum Hintergrund: WireGuard läuft auf einem RaspberryPi im lokalen Netzwerk und spannt mit Hilfe des DynDNS-Dienstes von ddnss.de durch die Fritz!Box einen VPN-Tunnel auf. In diesen tauchen alle Geräte mittels Passepartout automatisch ein, sobald sie das WLAN verlassen. In der Folge besteht auch

My WordPress is talking via my ImageDescription Plugin to my home server. The home servers Traefik is proxy passing the requests via a TailScale tunnel to my Laptop running Ollama. Convoluted ... but it works :D

In Qatar airport waiting for our transfer and apparently hachyderm.io is blocked from the airport WiFi. Had to enable tailscale exit node to post this.

Amazing, just added a Windows machine to my tailscale VPN and started looking on how to install and configure RustDesk. And got confused by the server thing a bit.

Alright, all of the Pis are now in use. There were quite a few services I didn't want to run in Proxmox and that was the main reason to have a "few" Raspberry Pis in the rack.

projects in the near future:
1. my mac-mini server runs ubuntu server and need apps. I'm thinking about Heimdall and a next cloud instance that I can reach via tailscale. I will also use it as an exit node for my tailscale network.
2. Making the server sleep when not in use and use an old RPi to 'wake it up' also over tailscale.
3. Making a portable router out of a Radxa Rock 4c that also use tailscale as a vpn alternative using the exit node.
