My dad told me my first ride in a sports car as a little kid was a Datsun 280z and that must have been what sparked my joy for cars (probably other things as well, but I'll roll with that nice story!). I mean, sure... it does look more expensive BUT it adds theft and loss protection which is not covered under the entry level AppleCare .
Also, can't you add devices that are older than the normal 90day from purchase threshold?
