1️⃣ Baffled folks with closed mindsets, completely clueless & scared of AI
2️⃣ Loud, untrained self-proclaimed experts who complain about AI more than they learn about it
3️⃣ Educated #AI users quietly & rapidly getting things done w/ a wry smile

Today I'll give a talk about our #datascience research on bicycle networks at #eurosdr ..with a lump in my throat due to the us news - Now more than ever, we need more research for the interests of *people*, not for states or corporations.

I am so tired of people trying to shove AI down my throat that anytime anyone talks about AI or adopts anything using it or anything like that I will just go on a ten minute tangent about how massive companies suck and AI is not even remotely the future. You did this to me, OpenAI/Microsoft/Apple/<insert other massive company here>.

@… Aha, I get you now! This is the best thing about proofs (I feel the same way about dependently-typed programming). The more information you can convey in a signature or type, the less you need to look inside.
I'm surprised you say that Go is close to it, though; is this because of culture? I'm sure that Rob Pike shouting “don't do anything cle…
