Just trying to get more details:
I have heard it said that Adobe's recent "AI" enabled versions of the Acrobat Reader upload a copy of the document to Adobe for the AI analysis and processing.
How much truth is there to this?

Adobe Acrobat on MacOS just had an update that silently turns-on AI clips.
You need to go into Preferences and turn off "Show AI video cards" (and it is good to turn off everything else as well.)
This is especially important (to turn off the Acrobat AI gunk for people with fiduciary and professional secrecy and privacy obligations - like doctors, attorneys, accountants, etc.)

Försöker logga in på det betalda Adobekonto jag har genom jobbet för att göra mitt jobb men Adobe insisterar på att jag inte har betalat för Acrobat (det enda programmet vi betalar för). Jag vill bara byta ut några år. Åter och åter igen blir det såhär när jag försöker använda kommersiell mjukvara. De vägrar ge mig tillgång till en tjänst vi betalat för, som fri mjukvara hade kunnat göra lika bra. Fattar verkligen inte varför man ska betala för mjukvara.
