Here it is, my 1541-RAMBoard][.
A solution to have extra 8K of RAM for disk copying that turned out to be also a very simple way to have DolphinDOS 2.
I have already patched JiffyDOS to use extra RAM for track cache too, so it's faster (10.5x instead of 9.8x) and sector interleave agnostic.
I will be switching between JiffyDOS and DolphinDOS, depending on my needs.
Full project is here:

A 1541-II mainboard with 1541-RAMBOard][ installed in place of ROM. That and two extra wires are all that is required. Later I have also installed a switch (another two wires) to choose the ROM: patched JiffyDOS or stock DolphinDOS 2.
Not seen on the photo is the parallel cable required by DolphinDOS.

I just wanted a RAM expansion for 1541II (just like I did for 1571CR), but it turns out it is exactly what is needed by DolphinDOS 2!
Now I have best of both worlds - JiffyDOS patched to cache whole tracks (interleave agnostic) in RAM and decode GCR faster using 1571 lookup tables AND DolphinDOS 2 with its 27x speed.
I completed testing today, details and project soon on GitHub.

This board has some options: 32K or 64K ROM. You switch between 4x16K or 2x32K ROM (24K in fact) banks. There is also 32K RAM visible as 4x8K banks.
This means you can have 4 different standard DOS ROMs (16K) e.g. CBM, JiffyDOS or 2 oversized ones (24K), e.g. DolphinDOS.
I have used the oversized option to patch JiffyDOS to use faster GCR decoding routines (copied from 1571 DOS) and use extra RAM for caching GCR data for whole track.
But exactly this configuration…
