We consider the following generalized Turán problem: For $2 \le s \le t$, what is the maximum number of triangles in a $K_{1,s,t}$-free graph on $n$ vertices? The previously best known lower and upper bounds are $Ω(n^2)$ and $o(n^{3-1/s})$, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, all known proofs of the upper bound use the triangle removal lemma. We report on the epitaxial growth of nm-thick films of bismuth-substituted yttrium iron garnet (BiYIG) by high-temperature off-axis radio-frequency magnetron sputtering. We demonstrate accurate control of the magnetic properties by tuning of the sputtering parameters and epitaxial strain on various (111)-oriented garnet substrates. $F(R)$ inflationary models are analyzed without the Weyl transformation to the Einstein frame. Sufficient conditions for existence of global inflationary attractors in $F(R)$ models are provided. We report the first capture and time-of-flight spectrometry of highly charged ions produced following antiproton annihilations in a Penning-Malmberg trap. At the AEgIS experiment, we employed a multi-step nested-trap technique to isolate ions from antiproton annihilations with ultra-low-density helium and argon gas.
