I saw a train-related meme and I suddently felt annoyed that English uses the word „switch“ for the railway thing where one track becomes two tracks. That’s just confusing. 🫤

sometimes I get annoyed when I forget to turn off match updates on FotMob for a match I'm watching bc it'll tell me someone scored before it actually happens on my stream
but rn it was good bc I was not fucking paying attention and that gave me a few seconds to focus and actually watch the goal lol

People can be terribly annoyed when you do that, i.e., draw equivalences between islamophobia and antisemitism, but the similarities are often very obvious.

A good chunk of (the East Side of) Providence lost power tonight, and I'm super annoyed because it would have been one of the best urban star-watching nights in Providence in literally decades, but…we had clouds. (Maybe correlated, we had rain, which may have knocked out some equipment?)

I'm getting myself so annoyed by something that really shouldn't get to me. Lost story short: a neighbour passed away a few months ago - a really lovely guy.
Whenever we spoke, he didn't really talk about his family, although we knew he was divorced and had children, one of which very occasionally visited. He talked about his hobbies, his previous work, and his dog, who had also passed a few months before him.
So, what's grating me? His children are now sorting out his house and possessions and they've parked their massive 4x4s on the front lawn he took so much pride in. Like, not just clipping it at the edge with their wheels, but properly parked over the grass. He didn't have much of a garden, but it was always taken care of. I've also noticed how his Mercedes was the first thing that got the most attention. It just feels so disrespectful it's kinda upsetting.

Maybe I ought to learn Dvorak layout for neuroplasticity reasons and also to be even more annoyed by being unable to get a decent ANSI keyboard in Europe

The rest of my family got (m)nexspike a month ago, but for various reasons I was delayed and was given spikevax the other day. I've spent most of the time since then sleeping, and i'm still so very annoyed they gave me the older, worse vaccine tech..
Everyone else had minimal side effects.

Love it when companies make constant changes to their app so any form of muscle memory you may have had before when clicking something makes you click the wrong thing, again and again, sending you off to some new, weird area of the app they're trying to force in front of your eyeballs.
