Whether you're broadly pro or anti AI, one thing that is important for all sides, is that we have a decent repository of information that is verifiable.
Ideally, written and checked by humans, but failing that a mix of humans and AI, where each checks the other recursively.
I don't think this can ever be done perfectly, but a trust network with strong identity management seems to be a good place to start.

People have known for a quarter-century that the main internet business model is what anti-trust scholars have long called predatory pricing. Operate at a loss to bankrupt the competition, then use your monopoly power to charge prices far above the cost of making the product. What we've learned recently is that on the internet, the monopoly power isn't used to make the price higher but to make the product less valuable.

Vaccine deceit from the US
"Pentagon ran secret anti-vax campaign to incite fear of China vaccines"
"The effort to stoke fear about Chinese inoculations risked undermining overall public trust in government health initiatives...
"Academic research published recently has shown that, when individuals develop skepticism toward a single vaccine, those doubts often lead to uncertainty about other inoculations."
