I know some of the money is thinking what @… says here. The trouble here is that Tesla is currently wildly, absurdly, comically overvalued wrt its fundamentals, and there are really only two rationalizations for that:
(1) Musk is a brain genius who will innovate the company into magic unicorn fairyland of world domination.
(2) Musk has Trump on a leash and will reap the benefits of kleptocratic plundering of the US Federal budget.
Both of those justifications depend on Musk remaining at Tesla. If he leaves, there’s little reason for the P/E ratio not to correct to normal car company levels — which AIUI would mean a stock price drop of >90%.

@… I don’t know about Bristol, and I don’t have any particular insights, but I seem to remember that the negotiations between the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries with Cambridge were difficult, too. In any case, it’s always interesting to look at the conditions:

@…
Not sure why it won't let me respond to your comment directly..
If you look at my feed at all, you will see I am far from a "Republican"
If one watches PBS Newshour with any critical media literacy their drift to the right is clear. They are always doing the "both sides", treating Trump and his Reublican minons as normal, etc. But the Republicans (who I am definitely not one of) have been working on this since Reagan and they really got going in 2005 democracynow.org/2005/5/12/a_r

I'd like to praise #NorcoGame. I've finished Act 1 and didn't get confused at all. I usually get stuck and need to consult online help, even in #PointAndClick games. The flow of Norco and the way it unfolds is very, very good.

I can only assume that voters who think tariffs will help them are willfully ignorant. It's not possible for *that* many people to be *that* stupid!

Headline of "Trump tells Walmart to 'eat the tariffs' after retailer warns of price hikes"

Below a meme of two astronauts on the Moon looking at the Earth, one standing behind the other with a gun in his hand, captioned:

"Wait... tariffs are a domestic tax increase?"
"Always have been."
