There are three Bahncard levels in Germany, cards that allow you to get rebates on for train tickets: BC 25, BC 50 and BC 100.
Although it sounds like a quantitative progression, the last one is a huge qualitative difference.
With the BC 25 you get 25% off of every train ticket.
With the BC 50 you get 50% off of every train ticket.
With the BC 100 you get 100% off of every train ticket.

I'm still naïve about traveling with Deutsche Bahn. I used to travel a lot with trains, I used to have one of the magical Bahncard 100 for several years. Fortunately, I don't travel that much anymore. Then I left Germany and now I'm back and I still have the instinct that taking the train will work.
Today's trip is from Bruxelles to Stuttgart. Planned from 18:25 to 23:11, with one change in Frankfurt.
