During the lockdowns when bookshops were closed, I was reading books we had on the shelves. One was C Darwin, Journal of Researches (1839), his diary of the Beagle voyage. Absolutely fascinating and very readable. An insight into those regions in 1831-36 and Darwin's emerging world view, and broadly humanistic attitude.
My edition (1900s) lacked a cover and some pages were still uncut. I rebound it (badly).
