I'm working on a data processing pipeline that was written for a specific smallish set of data in 2015-2016. Then the project was largely idle for 2-4 years, then picked up by a team that has been significantly expanding the coverage of the data processing pipeline, but not necessarily with full understanding of what it's doing underneath or how to examine it closely.

One of the great curses in technology is that, if you’ve ever built a content management system, especially a blogging tool, you can never stop building better ones in your head, even though the actual products in reality never get any better. Here @… falls down the rabbit hole again.

In the past month, borrowers from the library have purchased 14 bikes. (that I know of -- at least one is one I only found out by accident!)
Pretty good conversion rate.

My 22 year old did their own taxes this year, and the most difficult part of doing their taxes was "creating a login to the state DOR website in order to submit them", and asking me for where the 1095-C document that I had on their behalf was.
"Doing your taxes" is annoying for many reasons, but the reasons aren't ones that can be resolved by teaching the process in school.
