The Senator Who Used to Be Cory Booker
We taught at Rutgers-Newark in the same years, before he was mayor, before the Senate, before the rebranding. We shared a building lobby on University Avenue. I never shook his hand. I did not need to. Everyone on that campus knew Cory. He pulled the air toward him when he walked through a door, a Rhodes Scholar, a Yale-trained lawyer who had chosen Newark when he could have chosen Manhattan or Washington, a young man who spoke…

Most interesting part in this Huggingface security disclosure:
"“ We ran the forensic analysis instead on GLM 5.2, an open-weight model, on our own infrastructure. This had a second benefit: no attacker data, and none of the credentials it referenced, left our environment.”"
Which is worrying for OpenAI and Anthropic i would think.

"The SFMTA announced last month that it would significantly reduce the 1.1 miles of [Ocean Ave] red [transit-only] lanes to a handful of blocks"
Okay, hold it right there. That's a cut-and-dried violation of our city charter's Transit First policy, repeatedly reaffirmed by voters. This should not be a debate because we already had the debate. The "don't prioritize transit" side lost. Transit supporters need to sue the city.

#TLDR: #MorganMcSweeney

Graph showing movements of voters intentions between 2024 and 2026, I think, given the lack of Plaid Cymru and SNP, only in England. It clearly shows that only ReformUK (and to a much lesser extent Greens) are successfully recruiting voters from the enormous 'did not vote' block, while Greens recruited heavily from Labour and Reform and the LibDems both recruited slightly from the Tories. There's no movement to Labour from anywhere at all. The LibDems and the Greens are not losing votes to anyw…
