How should libraries respond to the deluge of AI-generated book submissions, sometimes dozens at a time? My Tuesday talk for the MLA considered:
- An outright ban
- Restriction to a specific "AI shelf"
- A required % of human authorship
- Restriction to certain genres (fiction yes/medical advice no)
- Community vetting

I read Bostrom's book SUPERINTELLIGENCE back when I worked at Google —
Blaise A— insisted that it go on the "AI" SF book club reading list
(as an aside: I started the book club; we were mostly reading, uh, cautionary stories)
SUPERINTELLIGENCE is garbage, & I said so: throw around big numbers until your moral calculus has a floating-point overflow & you can be convinced of obviously crazy things

Anarcho-syndicalism is really cool, and Rudolf Rocker is a big part of that for me.
He spent years lecturing about it at the Jubilee Street Club in the East End, and his book is one of my absolute favorites, that I always keep close by at home.
I wish I had a better picture, but hey, this one’s what you get!
