A common theme and observation I notice in all reports about Ukraine, is the incredible disconnect the rest of the world has with the conflict - as if it weren't creeping up to their own back door.
As this summer heats up in every way, I expect a lot of people to suddenly learn how connected we all are, as the fires burning in Ukraine and the Middle East spread around the world.
