Seit gefühlten Ewigkeiten steht bei uns im Arbeitszimmer ein über 15 Jahre alter (schöner) Samsung SW-Laserdrucker, für den es seit Jahren partout keine Mac-Treiber (und auch keine generischen Alternativen) mehr gibt. Ich habe immer mal wieder recherchiert, ob es da nicht eine Lösung gibt. Ohne Erfolg.
Seit einem halben Jahr habe ich einen Raspberry Pi und ich komme ERST JETZT auf die Idee mal zu suchen, ob das nicht auch mein Drucker-Problem lösen könnte? 🫠

Gedruckte CUPS-Testseite mit der Überschrift ‚Printer test page’, darunter acht Farbkreise (C, M, Y, K, R, G, B und ein zwölfteiliges Graustufenrad) sowie Debian- und UNIX-Printing-System-Logos. Im unteren Bereich technische Angaben wie Media Limits, Job ID, Treiber (ml1630.ppd), Druckermodell Samsung ML-1630 und Zeitstempel.

One of the big benefits of my homebrew ILA IP, BTW, is that it works just fine with any clocking relationship between the debug-bridge clock and the capture domain clock.
For some reason that I do not understand - I don't even know how I would implement such a restriction - the Vivado ILA does not work if the capture-domain clock is too slow. It needs to be at least 2x, IIRC, the JTAG TCK frequency.
So if you're running JTAG at say 30 MHz and you want to capture in a 20 …
