I thought I'd try out Open WebUI, so I installed it via pip. 20 minutes later we're at 8 gigabytes and compiling a bunch of code from scratch. Folks, it's just a simple chat-style web interface to LLM APIs. I'm wondering if the whole thing was coded by AIs who didn't care at all about footprint.
