Massachusetts could soon join 40 other jurisdictions with its own climate bank. Ceres CEO Mindy Lubber testified on Beacon Hill for legislation that would blend public and private investments to fund low-interest loans for clean energy projects.
The model works: similar banks invested $10.6B in 2023 alone. Lubber urged prioritizing environmental justice communities alongside rural and coastal areas.
