Went to the Japandult, a small Japanese fair in Munich („dult“ is an old Bavarian term for fair). It was nice but also expensive. 15€ to get in. They had some cultural shows (rap, flute music, a presentation from a Samurai school) and booths with handcrafts. Lots of anime plushies. Handmade, yes, but also cliche. You could buy some not so common snacks and sweets and they had a food truck with Takoyaki (balls filled with octopus)

Entrance of the Japandult fair in Munich. The glass front of a modern business building sports a large Banner. The logo on it is a cartoon cat with a pretzel on a red circle.
Closeup of the desk of a female calligrapher. She is currently finishing a name written in Kanji. There are pots with colorful powder and sponges on her desk that she used to add a dash of pink and green color to the piece of paper she is writing on.
Top down photo of a small Japanese cake and a spoon. The cake is round and approximately palm-sized. It is bright green due to the Macha flavor and is topped with cream, a piece of chocolate and pieces of dried strawberries. The cake is placed on a tiny cardboard tray held by a person but you only see parts of their hands.
