After Linux Mint and Cinnamon looked a bit old-fashioned and dusty, I gave Cinnamon a facelift following these good instructions. Now it looks really cool and modern!

all Linux desktop environments fit one of 4 types
1. start menu in bottom left corner
(looks like windows 7)
(cinnamon and plasma)
2. dock at bottom center
(looks like Mac and Windows 11)
3. tablet-y
(gnome)
4. tiling window managers

Of course I couldn't wait, so I updated my KDE. And it broke as well. That's 3 out of 3 today. I won't be upgrading my dwm. And Calculate Cinnamon keeps humming along also. Mmmm.

Aktuell gibt es probleme mit Manajro Cinnamon. Hab Manjaro Cinnamon installiert, nach updates und neustart wurde ich in den failmodus von Manajro geschickt. Cinnamon war abgestürtzt.
