The Oz government’s digital ID bill has become a lightning rod for conspiracy theories and fearmongering, despite it being “world’s best practice” and “completely sane,” privacy and security experts say.
Several Coalition and crossbench politicians claimed the bill was an attempt to introduce a Chinese Communist Party-style social credit score and a measure to control the public, despite no evidence or factual basis, after it passed the Senate.

Weird image dunno what it means probably just illustrative.

«In some parts of the world, Mondragón’s approach just looks downright weird. No one bats an eyelid at the co-operative model in countries such as Germany, “but with these ideas in Texas or Kansas, you’re basically a communist,” says Mendieta, only half jokingly.» theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2

"One quarter of all Paris residents now live in public housing, up from 13 percent in the late 1990s. The mixité sociale policy, promoted most forcefully by left-wing political parties, notably the French Communist Party, targets the economic segregation seen in many world cities.
'Our guiding philosophy is that those who produce the riches of the city must have the right to live in it,' said Ian Brossat...who served for a decade as City Hall’s head of housing."

By the end of the 1960s you have on the far right a real sense that the conservative movement had failed, which is to say it had failed to conserve pre-civil rights America.
More than that, the radical communist Marxist revolution that they've been warning about for decades was finally here, or around the corner.
From the perspective of someone who has been warning about Jewish communist revolution and conspiracy for 20 years, 1968 and 1969 must have been terrifying.
