Here's why having accounts on different apps is a good thing:
Instead of responding directly to the person who annoyed me, or even sub posting on the same platform, Ima make snarky comments over here where, likely, they will never see it.
Like:
I'm going to start calling straight white guys in positions that *I* don't think they're qualified for "legacy hires".

Years ago, I thought it was rather strange to store and provide an additional copy of a already published article. „Doppelt hält besser“ commented @… back then.
Well, he was right back then. But I still couldn't have imagined how important additional copies would become if data and publishers suddenly disappeared.
One more reason why
Make it so that you can decide if ie. only followed users or followers(and amount of time followed rules) can reply in comments to all posts or make it to specific ones.
This in a fight against reply guys!

What's the path of least resistance to archive reddit.com threads that are somehow still online?
I've seen that web.archive.org and archive.is can get blocked by reddit's bot detection, and even if not, they don't archive all the permalinks to nested comments etc.
