Extract Tables from PDF Documents
Bindings for the Tabula Java library, which can extract tables from PDF files. This tool can reduce time and effort in data extraction processes in fields like investigative journalism. It allows for automatic and manual table extraction, the latter facilitated through a Shiny interface, enabling manual areas selection\ with a computer mouse for data retrieval.

@alexshendi@rollenspiel.social I couldn't care less what the folks at Graphene say about the Gecko browser; I use Fennec (i.e., Firefox) on my Graphene Pixel and Librewolf on my computer. But I would certainly never use a Chromium-based browser. Maybe Gecko is more vulnerable in high-risk scenarios like espionage or dissident activities in repressive states like Russia, China, or now the U.S., etc.—I don’t know—but for the average user, there’s certainly no increased risk.
