and i concur, what i always say, we don't need transparency, we need accountability, without accountability transparency is useless. if if we have accountability, do we really need transparency?

I read today that the CORE rankings decided to downrank CONCUR, the flagship concurrency theory conference, to B. This is in my view preposterous and totally at odds with its standing in the community.
These rankings do not serve researchers. In my view they actively harm our communities.
