the more I hear Liberal MPs and others justifying the MOU, it is just.... infuriating. The oil and gas and nuclear focused messaging and greenwashing is at extreme levels.
This Liberal Canadian government is the worst environmental government since Harper.
And the paternalistic approach to First Nations consultation is a massive step back.
Canada, just days after COP30 closed, has screamed from the rooftops its willingness to burn the planet down.

I wasn't previously aware, but apparently the government is looking, again, at updating the Computer Misuse Act 1990 with proposals to protect researchers. (Although I haven't seen an open consultation since 2023.)
