I've written a wee letter to My MP, John Cooper (Conservative, Galloway and Dumfries) on #Gaza.
I'm sharing it in case you're thinking of doing the same, to link you to the sources I've used. Please do not simply copy my text, since multiple copies of the same letter have much less effect than multiple original letters.

#EU age verification done by #Google or #Apply only?
Well, Michał has a better and cheaper proposal for implementing that process:

Series A, Episode 01 - The Way Back
VARON: He works in the Outer Worlds most of the time. He's in Security.
BLAKE: He's a murderer.
VARON: Then he'll come to trial like everyone else in this cover-up.
BLAKE: And what about me?

Claude 3.7 describes the image as: "The image shows a person behind what appears to be prison bars or some type of confinement. They have curly dark hair and are wearing what looks like an olive or greenish shirt. The scene has a dramatic quality with the bars creating a stark visual separation between the subject and the viewer. The lighting creates shadows that emphasize the confined setting, giving the image a tense, dramatic atmosphere typical of classic science fiction television productio…

Never really realized before, but Kubrick was pretty clearly a Klingon in shallow cover

Director Stanley Kubrick on the set of the Warner Bros movie 'The Shining' in 1980.

(Kubrick's prominent forehead is super obvious here, and he resembles a ST:TNG Klingon with slightly less forehead ridging.)

Dismantling the sawmill motor to investigate an ignition failure. Changing the spark plug didn't help. It could be the HT lead but my local small engine guru says probably the coil.
Getting to the coil requires dismantling a whole lot of stuff...

Motor with the recoil starter removed. To the left of the motor is the carburettor, below which is a red lever which operates both the fuel tap and the stop switch, which operates by shorting the coil.

Unfortunately the coil itself is inside the black cover, roughly behind the red lever...
Detail removing the carburettor, so that I remember how the return spring reconnects.
To remove the black cover, I had to take off the air cleaner, the carburettor, the exhaust, a heat shield, and loosen the fuel tank.

I've only lost one bolt down inside the motor so far!

In this picture the coil is visible just inside the opened black cover.
