Oh wow. The SPIEGEL cafeteria from 1968, transferred to the MK&G museum in Hamburg.

Pipe Cleaner Cats?
Our friend @… reminded us of our previous "Pipe Cleaner Cats" with a darling Cat.
I decided to give Midjourney and Niji v6 a new crack at those Cats -- and, same as before -- these Kittehs are more yarn than pipe cleaners -- and I still don't know why!
However, the strange in these new Cats, is strong. Plain prompts. …

Midjourney v6 pipe cleaner Cat?
Midjourney v6 pipe cleaner Cat? Or is it a pig?
Niji v6 pipe cleaner Cat in orange circles?
Niji v6 blue pipe cleaner Cat? Or is it yarn?

So I was rereading @…'s piece on neural network-created knitting patterns and wondered if ChatGPT could create cross stitch patterns for me. Sort of? Maybe?
(Bing CoPilot could not produce anything usable.)

Screenshot of ChatGPT
Certainly! Here's a simple Halloween-themed cross stitch pattern.
(A lot of letters in kind of a pattern in markdown.)
In this pattern "W" represents black stitches, while "." represents empty space. This pattern depicts a simple Halloween-themed scene, with an image of a pumpkin. You can use orange for the pumpkin and black for the background.

Of course! Here's a 25x25 stitch pattern featuring a bat and a ghost, with each color represented by a differentletter.
(A bunch of letters in a block.)
In this pattern: "W" represents black stitches for the outlines. "G" represents gray stitches for the ghost. "B" represents blue stitches for the bat.
Feel free to adjust the colors as you like!

Ballroom Dancing Cats!
/
Well, I used to smile when I was a pup,
Sailing down the Nile in a china cup,
With the recipe for a lovely day,
Sticking out of my back pocket.
But it wasn't always such a pretty sight,
'Cause we used to fight like cats and dogs,
Then we made it up in the ballroom.

HAPPY CATURDAY!

Second try at "Pipe Cleaner Cats" -- that unfortunately still look more like "Static Clingy Yarn Sock Cats!"
#AI #AIart #Midjourney

Strange, unlikely Pipe Cleaner Cat!
Strange, unlikely Pipe Cleaner Cat! In pink and blue.
Strange, unlikely Pipe Cleaner Cat! Scary and staticky.
Strange, unlikely Pipe Cleaner Cat! A red menace!
