«I guess the main point is understand the data types you’re using. You wouldn’t use an 8-bit integer to handle values in the thousands, but it’s fine if the values stay under one hundred. The same rules apply to floating point. You just have to know how they work.»

Deepintodev.com reviews how modern database storage engines store, retrieve, and update database table rows on memory and disk. This serves as a foundation to understanding how indexes and clustered indexes work, the concerned data structures, and their use cases; these are reviewed as well.

Coinbase was hacked and lost 1000s of customers' name, address, phone, email, driver’s license, and passport info.
This is where the Orwellian "Know Your Customer" bullshit gets us. 1000s of companies store vast amounts of private data they aren't qualified to protect!

Öoo is a novel puzzle platformer where you can't jump, but you can bomb yourself around. Love the aesthetic and demo takes 15 min and has some great puzzles. It's from the developer of the much-lauded ElecHead.
Also has the funniest implementation of Clear Save Data I've ever seen.
