Holy cow, only 24 hrs after putting it out in the yard, the silvereyes ('tauhou' in te reo Māori, which means 'new arrivals' as they've migrated here to Aotearoa without human assistance) have already found the new sugar water feeder! I'm delighted 🤩🤗 Will try to get some better pictures.

Comcast IPv6 decided to bork itself again. Nothing I've tried (restarting DHCPv6 client, power cycling the modem) works.
My router gets a v6 address, can hit the internet without issues.
Router makes a DHCPv6 request, gets a delegated /59 out of my static /56.
But when I try to use an address out of the /59 on the local network (via radvd handing out /64's) it gets nowhere, traceroutes stop at the CPE/CMTS.

Trash panda update: they're not gone but seem to be starting to learn we don't like them. The super soaker is the weapon of choice - they hate it but it doesn't do any permanent damage.
I had one pop out in broad daylight earlier and pummeled it with the super soaker until it climbed up a tree out of range.
Another one showed up after dark and froze when I walked out the back door, maybe it thought I couldn't see it?
It thought wrong.
