In my experience, the larger the corp the worse they are at paying small invoices. I am inclined to believe Geoff Graham over Digital Ocean.
Geoff’s pattern has been to try, twice, to resurrect CSS-Tricks on the cheap.
DO’s pattern has been to kill it, twice, and also pour money into a DHH joint.

I hadn't posted over on the second channel in a while now, but I felt that it was important to talk about what's going on with @digitalocean.com and @css-tricks.bsky.social as the site has now gone quiet for a second time. youtu.be/9_upvxCAUzM https://youtu.be/9_upvxCAUzM

Over the past couple of nights I've been setting up my Mastodon server on a new Ubuntu 26.04 VM (The original server was set up using Digital Ocean's "One click install" on 20.04 back in 2022).
I feel like a teenager again, in a good way. I haven't had this much fun messing with computers in a long time.

Sure Digital Ocean and AWS are fine, but do they have the ability to get Hit Markers under their account settings?
