The more I travel, the more I adore dead zones in Germany (especially on the train).
The train is one of the rare places I can work without distractions (or the possibility of procrastination). My writing is a lot better here…
I have to go to the bathroom, but I also have to finish this damned article.
I suspect that if I get up to go to the bathroom, I'm going to get distracted by 200 other things and not finish writing.
Also, it will disturb the cat.
I'm not a font expert, but I like #GNOME replacing Cantarell with Adwaita Sans. Cantarell is more distinctive, but I find it distracting. It feels of a time, specifically the 2000s decade, along with Microsoft's Verdana and Tahoma. The new one seems more timeless and utilitarian.
Looks like the USPS shut down the covidtests.gov at 8:00 PM EDT on 3/9/2025, per text on the website.
I'm feeling somewhat fortunate in that I got my order placed and received in the last couple weeks.
If they had too many tests stockpiled, better management and allowing people to order additional test kits seems like a better choice than destroying good tests.
