How do so many people keep using my email address to sign up for various services? Like, why? How? It's not even spam, as far as I can tell. It's real people that don't know what their own email address is.

Ran into an issue when updating Hytale for my Warlock installer; their downloader is throwing a 403 forbidden when attempting to retrieve the downloader helper application for installing the game, (not even the game install, the helper). Weird.
Went to their Discord and noticed I didn't have access to the verified channels anymore, also weird.
Went to my account on their site and clicked 'connect' on Discord and was presented with a rather extensive list of permissions.

Recently switched to using Thunderbird for my yahoo email.
The problem is that unless Thunderbird is open, Yahoo will flag something as spam before my Thunderbird filters get to it.
Only solution I've found so far is basically having to put rules/filters in yahoo...which partially defeats the purpose of an desktop client.
Any ideas? (turning off spam filtering in yahoo apparently isn't an option anymore)

1. Upgrade to a service at work. No RFC or at least emails to all the admins, just a small header on the page. We set up a backup site so we don't lose access.
