@… Feature request: When I'm looking at a profile page, a way to search within that profile - yeah, I could include the "from:" in my search but for your handle, for example, that's 29 keystrokes.

Our hosting provider rejected a feature request to build an antiAI scraping firewall option in at server side
So now I'll have to faff about with .htaccess file.

So where’s actually the correct place to send a feature request to #KDE Plasma Addons?
Its GitLab readme says that I should “report bugs and feature requests in KDE's bugtracker under the plasmashell category”, but that requires me to choose a Component and there’s no “Plasma Addons” component or anything like that.
The bugs.kde page also says that I should, if I’m “not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at discuss.kde.org”.
So if each place tells me to post it somewhere different, where should I post it?

Obvious inflammatory rhetoric.
Also, "because X11 did it that way" is the single stupidest reason possible for deleting a feature that has been standard on *nix platforms since the 1980s.

GNOME developer Jordan Petridis has submitted the code to remove middle-click paste behavior from GNOME defaults, which he considers "an X11ism." The merge request concludes "Goodbye X11."

@… little feature request:
It would be really nice if we could drag a page tab and drop it in a bookmark bar folder or location, to add it there to the bookmark. Currently it seems you can do that with the address in the address bar, but if you try with the tab it just opens it in a separate window.. 🙏

@… feature refinement request: when replying to a toot that has another account @ mentioned, my compose window pens with all @ mentioned accounts listed and all but the author of the toot highlighted for easy deletion. I love this❤️. If I choose to delete the space following the author’s @ mention is deleted as well and if I just start typing it’s appended to the @ me…

Hey Fediverse! Request for comments on some software. I'm looking for an application to assist with multiple social media accounts, ie: posting to multiple platforms simultaneously, (Mastodon included of course), and ideally one that supports multiple brand account groups so I can manage clients.
Hootsuite would fit the bill feature-wise but it's paid-only, can't be self hosted, and doesn't support Mastodon.
I'm not opposed to paying for software, but open s…

Do you have a device with an AMD Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that you actively use? I could use your help testing support for monitoring AMD NPUs in Resources!
I'd really appreciate it if you'd check out the amdxdna-support branch of Resources' GitHub repository and check if NPU utilization correctly shows up in Resources.
You can find more info in this GitHub issue:
