1. Do not begin your reasons for joining with the words, “I’m a genuine Fediverse user …”
2. Do not end the with, “… interested in technology, digital culture, and open communities. I’d like to join fedifreu.de to exchange ideas respectfully, follow diverse perspectives, and be part of a friendly, decentralized social space that values openness and co…

@… The other wrinkle I think about a lot is how GIANT megacorps or investors can fund a free or near-free service at a loss to completely change the incentives of customers to be less friendly to existing creators trying to succeed sustainably in the same space.
Reminds me of Walmart/Amazon decimating the economy of small towns
