Evil stuff my mind cooks up:
Take a Rubik's cube apart and change it so that a corner piece has two adjacent stickers of the same color.
Then randomize the rest of the cube.
Give it to a solver and measure the time until they realize it's unsolvable.

With the emergence of more processors with 64 cores or more, I'm thinking more about whether it makes sense to implement a hypercube virtualised on a single chip with a single vector of memory, or as a literal hypercube of 64 (say) RP2350s. I understand the problems of transferring data across a hypercube, but I don't have a good feeling of how the bus contention on a multicore processor scales. What should I read?

There is very little need for disposable food packaging - and it's clear that reusable containers are very cost effective compared to disposables. Add to that micro plastic shedding into food and drink, with the attendant health impacts.

Zuihitsu, meaning “following the brush,” flow as the mind flows. They are fragmentary—mixing moments of observation, opinion, anecdote, asides, and humor. From the contemporary point of view zuihitsu refuse categorization, vibrating in the live space between prose and poetry.
