Another day, another hairpin turn in the world of Donald Trump’s foreign policy.
The weekend was all about war,
and Trump insisting Iran had not yet “paid a big enough price”.
Tuesday was Project Freedom,
styled as a grand “humanitarian gesture” to allow trapped ships and their crews to escape the Gulf,
but also aimed at weakening Iran’s chokehold on the strait of Hormuz.

Fun bug of the day I need to chase once I finish some $dayjob stuff: same ngscopeclient binary, same scopesession decoding 100baseT1. Same Xeon 8362 so CPU feature flags are no factor.
On an nvidia 3070 in the lab it works flawlessly.
On the amd 9700 i just put in my office workstation the 100baseT1 scrambler consistently fails to lock and I get no decode, but the eye patterns look fine so it's not failing too badly.
If i run on live streaming data from the thunderscope…

Upgraded proxmox 8 to 9. Flawless. Perfect. Breeze. Why did I reboot before checking the sshd config. Where is that extra HDMI cable.
