On Saturday, former Trump administration official and radical Christian nationalist
William Wolfe delivered a speech at Bethel Church in Petersburg, West Virginia, entitled
"Five Popular Lies About Faith & Politics."
Wolfe, who now runs the Center For Baptist Leadership
and has become an increasingly fanatical anti-immigrant activist,
openly admitted that the goal of Christian nationalists is to

@… Frankly the only reason I’m considering replacing my M1 Mac Mini with a MBP is the form factor and the FOMO.
I’ve not once run into “ugh, I wish this computer was faster” since ordering it on launch (I *did* get 16 GB of memory FWIW).

I probably won't post so much Radeon content on YouTube if the upcoming AMD drivers won't support some kind of FSR 4 on previous gen graphics cards. For one, the WTF AMD video of GamersNexus hit me harder than I initially thought. If I had minded my own business instead of making AMD videos, by now I would've been able to buy two Nvidia GPUs sans the constant grief. Frankly, the only part that was worth it and fun alongside the other stuff was making the Linux gaming videos.

It's because they are bigots.
Leah is an inspiration and if she wants to use un-reasonably long hashtags and initialisms, then all the power to her to be able to call out injustices against all of these groups at once!
Musk called call it a monstrosity, I call it efficient!
Frankly, I'm jealous she can actually say it in full without skipping a beat.

Reading algorithmic feeds is a crazy thing to do: abandoning control over your own influences to a robot programmed by advertisers to manipulate you?
Madness.
I will not allow a robot programmed by advertisers and surveillance capitalists to determine what I read.
I don’t read any robo-feeds and don’t recommend anyone else does.
But people do:
Top five highest reaching smart phone apps:
All designed to harvest data from your phone, three of them owned by one creepy billionaire, and most people use them by looking at a robo-feed suggesting to them what to read and watch or filter.
I don’t use any of them.
I watch some Youtube, but not though their app. Uninstalled that from my phone as soon as I got it. It’s an awful downgrade of just playing in a browser page. I subscribe to some channels there in my RSS reader like a boss. Never watch what their recommendation algorithms suggests.
I tell them what I want to watch, I don’t let them tell ME what to watch, and frankly I wish all those videographers would start a peertube instance or something instead of posting their work on a corporate surveillance site.
I say you should avoid that algorithm stuff, it’s crazy manipulative.
But people should be free to do what they want.
I’m free to block Facebook! And I do: and I encourage everyone else to do so too.
Edit your DNS, block their domain names. Do it.
But if governments or corporations have the power to mandate those choices for everyone, it will go badly.
Prohibitions always do.

Whenever I've had a need to use my Android-plaything-phone for a while, I am always struck by just how much nicer it is to use Niagara Launcher than iOS or any of the regular launchers on Android. If I could replace the iOS home screen with Niagara, I would do it in a heartbeat. It is so much nicer to use that it's frankly ridiculous. Another thing I find rather superior on Android is text manipulation. The hold-space-for-cursor on iOS is good, but everything else is better on Androi…

❝“Free speech culture” becomes bad and unserious when it starts telling us that speech is morally neutral, that we should not make value judgments against it, and that there is no moral component to promoting it. I am committed to the defense of the legal right to speak, but the defense of speech does not require us to refrain from speaking frankly about moral truths.
Giving Wax [a bigot] a platform to be a bigot is morally distinguishable from saying she should be free to be a bigot. “The only immoral thing you can say is that someone else’s speech is immoral” is not an ethos worthy of respect.❞

I think it is because so few have bothered to learn the history culture of our Eastern European friends. But in that sense it's hardly surprising that an invasion seemed such a frankly *bizarre* idea.
But Brexit had already taught us that weird misunderstandings of history ideology trumps logic
