While us engineers are currently busy token maxxing, 100 years ago humans put a lighthouse at the bottom of this.

"You cannot try to 'get the job'. Just go in there, have some fun and do your version of that part. 'This is what I'm selling. If you want to buy it, that's cool. Have some adjustments for me? That's fine, I'll make some adjustments, but this is basically what I want to do.' THAT'S the attitude, sort of 'f*ck it' attitude. Not f*ck you...but, f*ck it."

I love when a fun hobby project involves learning new things while using the skills I already have.
Been having fun spinning up a solo server for a very old MMO I used to play. Bot tuning, containerization, proxmox clustering, networking, server config tuning, learning how to play the game again.
It's all been fun!

@… I’m very excited to hopefully make that same trip one day. Looks fun :)

Just what I want to see pop-up on Docusign while confirming a job offer.

More progress. I've got the entire MBR processing finished up with a ton of cleanup. Processing the extended partition entries is always fun, but after a fixing a few dumb mistakes everything is parsing out correctly. Even better: no memory leaks.

@… MNOZ 2 is a lot of fun. I’m having a hard time tracking what increases the multiplier, though. I cheated and moved the A-button to a rear trigger for comfort :)

When I started all this, I really underestimated the joy of buying a new album of a favorite artist and supporting them, directly, ngl.
Supporting artists is fun.

I was at work, but obviously Europe was still sleeping when I got to the shed. Did some FreeBSD Sway, talked a lot but didn't do anything yet with quickshell and ended up exploring Crux for the rest of the day. Now, that was fun! Restarting tomorrow with the updated iso. Hope customers will sleep even longer 😆

Victorian elites stayed in bed until the afternoon
Their schools and universities were not terribly academic and had very little STEM.
As adults, they got up late, drank a lot, and spent a remarkable share of their waking hours partying.
They loved feasting, sports, holidays, dancing, and dressing up.
Contrary to their stodgy reputation, they were probably a lot of fun.
Despite this, the elites of nineteenth-century Britain were, by their own lights, extremely …

I fully understand iPad kids now. I picked up an onn Android tablet because somehow Wal-Mart of all places has actually reasonably specced tablets somehow for $200.
The Android apps that have a tablet layout are just legitimately better, there's just so much more you can do at once that it feels more like a PC.
