Expedition 33 is one of my all time fav games but I'm happy the Indie Game Dev Awards is taking a hard line on AI in games.

When you beat the later levels, Linux restarts the whole game over but in hard mode. Sure, I've installed MySQL on Debian before, but this time around there's extra challenges - like the GPG signature on <dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.4/e

"BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK", and then a bunch of random text that is aligned to look like a square of text. Except the first line of the square has an extra character, messing up the look of the square.

Also, if you like that as a game - the look and feel - may I direct your attention in this direction as well (from a different dev):
(It is unfortunately true that it does not play on modern macOS - it's still a 32-bit Intel executable, and unfortunately playback in CrossOver is not great but does run on #SteamDeck )

Reverse engineered another image file format, which was used in True Love (#pc98) and a handful of other games. Made an encoder too, so you can insert modified graphics in the game. Hopefully this power will be used responsibly.
