We derive the full covariance matrix formulae are derived for proper treatment of correlations in signal fitting procedures, extending the results from previous publications. We present the readout noise reduction methods and the 1/f noise response of an 2Kx2K HgCdTe detector similar to the detectors that will be used in the Near Infrared Spectrometer Photometer - one of the instruments of the future ESA mission named Euclid. A systematic bias in template-based RV extraction algorithms
In this paper we identify and explore a previously unidentified, multi meter-per-second, systematic correlation between time and RVs inferred through TM and LBL methods. We evaluate the influence of the data-driven stellar template in the RV bias and hypothesize on the possible sources of this effect.
