@bourgwick@heads.sociala feature that i wish was built into mastodon from the start & hope it eventually comes to heads.social. feel like being able to communicate only with people on your local server is one of the missing pieces in actually making local servers work. (i'd certainly be more apt to live-toot live shows/streams if i knew the readers were specifically the heads server.)

@anildash@me.dmof course, all the requisite hugops to everybody at AWS, but I will share a little secret: I always tried to hold the line on Glitch being entirely hosted within US-EAST-1 simply because I knew that it would make people more forgiving of outages and downtime once they knew where we were hosted.

Latest Pixelfed runs on an rpi5, latest Mastodon clients all get the same result: my acct on jazztodon always sees full photos in a mastodon client as do various Pixelfed clients, but reading the same post from mstdn.ca photos are often munged and no means to re-fetch.

@jamie@boothcomputing.socialSo what is the deal with companies that send you extra products? I ordered two Awair Element air monitors in August and received them. Today, another box showed up with two more. No packing slip or order information. I haven't been billed for them (that I can find).
Do I just keep them? Seems weird. I'm guessing some sort of glitch caused them to reship the order.
