Conceding is a problem, but the inability to finish is both the biggest ongoing problem and the story of the fading title challenge.
vs Crystal Palace 2.87 xG, 0 goals.
vs Atalanta 2.6 xG, 0 goals
at Man United 3.67 xG, 2 goals
That’s 9.14 xG in the last three games, yielding a disappointingly underwhelming 2 goals. One of the goals was a PK. It’s not Klopp. It’s not the “bravery of the defending”, as the commentary sang about today. It’s the attacking players.

I believe that the MA e-bike rebate program is poorly designed if the goal is maximizing number of car miles replaced with bike miles. As designed, I fear that it is a poorly targeted charitable program. It would be better to do grant-style funding of entire bikes for low-income families, while using limited value rebates for higher income families, to achieve the goals theoretically sought under the current program.

I consider most of everything I do here "fun". Today and yesterday, I haven't been posting all that much because I haven't been doing "fun", I've been doing "work" with LOTS of assistance from @… (hes done most of it, I am just doing what he says basically). Hopefully with my vision and goals along with his knowledge and help, I'm doing something that will be considered admirable in the long run.
Though, just because it's been a bit stressful with errors and such, "work" on Fedi is no less exciting than "fun" on Fedi, I assure you that.
Progress.
Bright days ahead and I am mostly alone for the rest. (It's easy, just time consuming)
More info soon.

After 11 months of being here, I decided to do a very small reflection.
When I first arrived, I didn't have any expectations or goals I'd like to achieve. Matter of fact, the main reason I left Twitter is because of all the bots that followed me and how I almost never got any real interaction.
Over time, things got a little rocky here and it seemed as though, personally, I wasn't going to be enjoying it any further at that time and contemplating shutting the instance down completely and just "disappearing".
However, several months on from that, I'm VERY glad I didn't. I like it here and I like having my "own little space" where nobody can tell me what I can and cannot discuss nor what I can and cannot see.
Something I've just recently realized though, is how important a good bit of you have become to me, personally and my Fedi experience would be very lacking without some of you here. What I didn't expect, was getting that same sentiment back when I discussed it with those few of you. I really appreciate knowing that for some of you, I have been consistently a "good" addition to your timelines and everyday online life.
Those types of comments and feelings they give me, keep me here and sane on those wilder days. To each and every one of you that have followed me for so long, through all the craziness, slight drama, wild opinions, and more, THANK YOU.
If I hadn't been almost universally accepted with such open arms and returned the same energy I try to put out, then I doubt I would still be here to this day.
I'm 11 months in and I think I'm ready to "give back" to those few folks that I consider friends and am on the cusps of creating something new and hopefully something good for Fedi as a whole.
I'm going to keep it very limited for specific reasons I'll lay out later. But, this is new ground for me and I have to figure some things out and hopefully not make too many missteps and learn some things along the way.
Thank you Fedi. I wouldn't be who I am right now, without you.

A major media framing of ongoing university protests seems to be that students want an end to the war and to the direct support countries like the US and Canada provide the state of Israel. While undoubtedly true, it seems to me that most groups have more modest, targeted, and attainable goals: they want the institutions where they pay tuition to divest and to boycott Israeli universities that support the war - that is, basically "think global, act local."

Daily Inspiration: "Chase bold goals: It’s not too late to try to invent the perfect GPS-based golf ball!" - Futurist Jim Carroll
I'm off to watch the Canadian Open today - it's just about a 45-minute drive from my home. One of the cool things is that one of the golfers in the tournament - a young fellow named Matthew Anderson - is from my original home club of Credit Valley. My son and I played with him a few times about ten years ago, and it's been pretty magica…

As I sit alone
In this trauma filled home,
There's not much to life
But reaching in my back to pull out the knife.
They say bad times don't last.
Then why can't I forget the past?
It's like there's no path forward
No goals to look toward.
Sadness overtakes me
As the memories of my past continue to break me.

Israel’s announcement on Wednesday that
its forces had gained control over a strip of land that runs along the Gaza Strip's southern border
suggested that it had fulfilled one of the goals of the country’s war against Hamas,

🔸What is the border strip?
It is land around 100 yards wide that runs roughly eight miles from Israel’s border to the Mediterranean.
The new border, which divided th…
