Content warning: NZPol Growth is a broken mindset

Listening to Nicola Willis on RNZ. We need a much much more mature discussion about 'growth'. We need to fully recalibrate social expectations. And we have to work out how we can have a functional society *without growth*. Because that's what our current situation requires.
This gov't is so simple minded it hurts. It's also undoing what minimal sensible gains we, as a society, have achieved in the past decade or two.

I'm having a hard time with startups purporting to "fight climate change" and advertising their "growth mindset at heart".
