Finished setting up the electric poultry netting today. They don't give you near enough ground stakes, the pins are utterly useless, and I had to add 20 additional fence posts to take out the sag. Still need to trim and rake in a couple of places where we're leaking current to plant matter, but we're very nearly to the point that I'd be happy leaving chickens unattended again after last week. Finished “Deacon King Kong” by James McBride.
In 1969, an elderly church deacon known as “sportcoat” in his community of the Causeway Housing project in south Brooklyn, approaches & unexpectedly shoots a drug dealer, wounding him.
What happens afterwards is a great character & community driven story of colliding tectonic plates: changing neighborhood demographics, police presence, the destruction of drugs. Stays mostly humorous & light.

Aus Gründen nochmals die Bitte, v.a. Skandal- & Empörungsmeldungen aus unbekannten Quellen nicht unhinterfragt weiterzuverbreiten; gerade wenn sie in euer Weltbild passen.
Jeder möchte gern in seiner Meinung bestätigt werden & recht gehabt haben. Das nutzt Desinformation gnadenlos aus. Was glaubt ihr, warum Schlagzeilen wie „Habeck nimmt unsere Heizungen weg!“ oder „EU verbietet Autos!“ so gut funktionieren?

The weather is cold and wet.
I'm not sure if there's a lot of outdoor activity today. But I've finished a book and wrote a quick review on #bookwyrm .
Funny - I NEVER wrote reviews on any platform. No Idea why but nowadays I'd only put it on bookwyrm because then I do not give my writing to any company for free.
