It is based on the hereditary integral form of transient network theory, in which polymer chains belong to distinct networks each with different natural equilibrium states. This afternoon I herded 30-50 feral sheep back into their field.
Having, started a zoom call with a colleague, I noticed said flock of sheep wandering down our road!
So I got a long stick from the garage, and proceeded to do my best "One man and his dog" impression (without the dog, obvs) It turned out that the gate to the field wasn't properly closed and the sheep had made a bid for freedom.
